Here at Boutique Gifts we are constantly looking for new and unique product ranges to add to our site. We recently added a range of calligraphy pen sets. After the success of our personalised notebook and quill set we thought it was time to expand.

What is Calligraphy?

Calligraphy is a form of visual art relating to writing. The word calligraphy literally means ‘beautiful writing’. The artistic process means to form beautiful letters and symbols by hand using a pen, ink, brush or other writing instrument. The written words should possess integrity, harmony and rhythm.

Calligraphy is commonly used to add artistic touches to logos, certificates and invitations.

This range was recently launched based on our very popular notebook and quill pen set. This set includes a personalised notebook, brown feather quill, ink and quill stand. We have added a large black quill and notebook set. This set is a step up from our original one, presented in a brown world map box, this set includes notebook, quill, interchangeable nibs, stand, ink and wax seal. These are both excellent personalised gifts each with a debossed notebook.

Feather Quill Sets

Our calligraphy sets make excellent gifts for those who already have an appreciation for the art and those who are just discovering it and want to learn more. We have a range of sets which include exactly what they need to get started. Our feather quill sets include a feather quill, various nibs and ink. We have several different feather quill sets to suit individual personalities.

Our diagonal striped feather quill is a pale feather with a bronze coloured barrel and 4 interchangeable nibs. We have a vibrant blue feather quill with silver barrel and 6 interchangeable quills, this set even includes a wax seal. These are great examples for someone who enjoys practising calligraphy and wants to explore what they can do with different nibs.

Express Range

All of our calligraphy gifts are included in our express range meaning they come directly from our in-house workshop. The sets including a personalised notebook, will be debossed with your chosen personalisation by one of our experts. Each product comes presented in a high-quality gift box, wrapped in tissue paper and will be dispatched within 2 working days.
